Innovations for the design of Pool & Wellness facilities

One key to staying at the forefront of the technology sector in developing and installing pools and other wellness elements is based on innovation. To maintain a leadership position we need to not just respond quickly to sector demands but also keep abreast of the improvements being made and rolled out.

The sector that Fluidra Group companies work in requires us to stay ahead of the innovation curve and drives us to develop new items and techniques to offer our customers the best products. Technology is moving ahead quickly and is constantly reinventing itself – and failing to keep up with the times will hold you back.

Innovation and development today focus particularly on improving the comfort of water sports facilities and reducing the carbon footprint, a demand heard increasingly often across economic sectors.

Presenting pool professionals with the new breakthroughs developed by Fluidra is essential for both the engineers who design wellness facilities and the installers to know the latest products and services. That’s why seminars like the one held in Barcelona on 26 April entitled “Innovations in the Design of Pool & Wellness Facilities” are so important.

The event kicked off with a short demonstration of the implementation of virtual reality in new Fluidra Engineering projects, followed by the introduction to and presentation of the seminar. Francesc Garcia spoke about the Skypool System, Inoxpool (stainless steel pools) and a battery of pool building solutions.

Álvaro Cañada discussed Freepool and neolysis and other water treatment processes. New developments in dehumidification and the problems involved in keeping a pool in good health were addressed by Juan Bahamonde. Marta Kielczewska presented the latest advances in connectivity and discussed ways to synchronize products from a single device.

At the end we were shown around the facilities of the Club Atlètic-Barcelona, where the seminar was held. We were given a tour of the pool filtering and operating systems designed, produced, and installed by Fluidra.

If you’d like to know more about any of the seminar topics, we will soon have more detailed information here.
