Recognising excellence at Fluidra Mexico
On 15 December, the employees of Fluidra México learned the names of the winners of some very special awards: the Fluidra Mexico Performance & Sales Awards 2015. Chosen by the company’s Management Committee, the purpose of these awards is to recognise the professionalism of Fluidra México’s employees and sales force.
First of all, in the “Best Employee” category, the Fluidra Mexico Performance Awards seek to foster camaraderie, a good workplace environment, a sense of belonging and personal improvement. This category recognises the hard work, values and institutional competencies of a particular employee.
- The winners were: Viridiana Rentería (Marketing Manager) as the “Best Roockie” and Carlos Rivera (Credit & Collection) as the “Best Employee”
The “Best Salesman” category of the Fluidra Mexico Sales Awards recognises the salesperson with the best results for the year (in both pools and irrigation). It is important to note that the award takes into account not only the sales figures but also professional values such as dedication, commitment, cooperation and honesty.
- The “Best Salesman” winner was: Arturo Villanueva (Sales Executive QRO).
Congratulations to the winners and to our colleagues at Fluidra México for this magnificent initiative.
An Elite Squad at Fluidra Brazil
Our colleagues at Fluidra Brazil have a daunting task ahead of them in 2016: to double sales in a country which currently has a 0% growth rate. It’s no wonder, given the situation, that the team has decided to call this mission the Elite Squad (title of a famous Brazilian action film in which the police must “take back” a territory).
To prepare for the mission, Fluidra Brazil held a series of sales meetings from 7-10 January. For four days they analysed 2015 results, defined the goals and strategies for 2016 and participated in new product training activities. The sessions took place at three different company locations: the new Distribution Centre (1,500 m2), the new liner Factory and the new offices in Sao Paulo.
Here is a photograph of our “squad in action”.
