The 25th edition of the Aquatech trade fair was held from 3 to 6 November in Amsterdam (Netherlands). This trade event is devoted to water treatment processes and attracts companies in the sector from all around the world that attend it to display their range of products to potential customers.
Our colleagues from Cepex could obviously not fail to miss this event, at which they presented the products in the new Extreme series: valves for the industrial sector made of plastic that adapt to any appliance. Members of the company’s sales and engineering teams went over to Amsterdam to give customised assistance to the various distributors and installers who approached our stand to make enquiries.
Attended by businesses, universities and R&D centres that work in the field of water, the fair, which is held every two years, has built up a reputation as a major crossroads for innovation and networking. In addition, with more than 18,000 attendees and 75 seminars, Aquatech has become one of Europe’s leading fairs for the water treatment sector. After 25 editions, the fair has never ceased to specialise, and every year it presents more specific appliances and products designed to respond to the real needs of the market.
However, Aquatech is not the only major event the company attended in November. A few weeks ago, a team of experts from Fluidra met at Cepex’s factory in La Garriga (Barcelona) to put forward a highly exciting project: the creation of a range of proprietary products for the fluid handling industry. Coming from as far afield as Spain, China, France, Russia, Brazil and Germany, the attendees – sales reps, engineers, managers, heads of marketing and the heads of a number of other departments – exchanged their views on the project and discussed the current situation of the market.
The meeting not only served to set up a team and better understand the various points of view people had about the development of this initiative, but also to pool information on a number of projects, suppliers and needs. Likewise, a work plan was devised to ensure future efforts go in the right direction.
