A few weeks have gone by since the Piscine Expo Lyon show, the world’s leading event for the pool sector, so the time has come to take stock of the outcomes.
The show took place between 18 and 21 November and hundreds of dealers and companies from the sector once again travelled to Lyon to find out about the latest developments, make new contacts, and strengthen ties with clients and other companies in the sector.
As a whole, the Fluidra Group had several stands (Fluidra, Fluidra Connect, GRE, Idegis, IML, Cepex, Ignialight, Certikin International, …), which took up a total surface area of 1,025 m2.
At this edition, Piscine Expo Lyon managed to attract 600 exhibitors, who received 18,000 visitors from 90 countries. Furthermore, over 70 internationally accredited journalists reported on everything that happened during the show.
Given the figures, Piscine Expo Lyon is without a doubt the ideal place for displaying new products, which is why it was chosen as the place to officially launch Fluidra Connect, a platform that makes it possible to remotely control the running of all of the components that are involved in pool maintenance.
The system, which has introduced the concept of the “Internet of Pools”, was well received by the hundreds of dealers from the sector who were at the show and who were able to check out the system’s innovative features for themselves.
Another of our success stories in Lyon took place at the prize-giving ceremony of the Pool Eco Attitude Innovation awards, which was held on the evening of 18 November. The LumiPlus Design range of underwater floodlights by AstralPool won the award, an accolade bestowed on products and solutions launched on the market that meet sustainable development criteria.
We should feel extremely proud of these results. The Group’s image has been strengthened and we have demonstrated once again that Fluidra is an innovative, competitive company deeply committed to sustainability.
