Our remote control system for pool maintenance, Fluidra Connect, was chosen alongside 11 other cutting-edge start-ups to take part in IoT Stars, a networking event about the Internet of things that was held in the framework of the Mobile World Congress.
Our colleagues responsible for Fluidra Connect presented the platform that allows information to be obtained in real time about a pool’s status to an audience made up of developers, influencers, business people and experts from the technology sector.
During the IoT Stars MWC17, the start-ups selected had to explain how they had applied the Internet of things in their businesses, which ranged from the pool and wellness sector to gaming, through to personal hygiene accessories, amongst others.
Thus, during three minutes, David Gimenez, R&D Project manager, was keen to highlight the advantages of the Internet of Pools for end users and pool owners, as well as for professionals from the sector, given that in addition to remotely controlling pools from a smartphone or tablet, they could also be tested and maintenance work done on them remotely.
Taking part in IoT Stars MWC17 was an interesting experience for our colleagues, in addition to the acknowledgement they all received for their innovative spirit. Congratulations team!
