On 4 November, the Barcelona-based employers’ association Cecot held the 20th edition of Entrepreneurs’ Night, an annual event that recognises the track record of a number of companies from the business sector in Catalonia. Hundreds of guests flocked to the city’s Congress Centre to celebrate the event’s 20th anniversary. Entrepreneurs’ Night was attended by the president of the Government of Catalonia, Artur Mas, who presented the awards to the prize-winners.
At this edition, the award jury – made up of representatives from the worlds of business, education, the government and the press – nominated Fluidra as the Most International Business. We currently operate in 42 countries through 150 branch offices and production plants. Our products are distributed to over 170 countries thanks to an extensive sales network and we have a team of around 3,600 members of staff.
We would like to share this recognition of our track record in internationalisation with all of our employees.
We would also like to express our sincere congratulations to all of the prize-winners of the 2014 edition of Entrepreneurs’ Night: Tous (The Most Dynamic Retailer); Gama Profit (Best Start-up Business Idea); Jovi (The Safest and Healthiest Workplace); Fontgas, Gft IT Consulting and Tick Translations (the BBVA I Am Employment Award in the category for the creation of social values); Intelligent Pharma (Innovation Award); Els Nou Ralsy Xpressa Geophysics (Value of Entrepreneurship Award); Grupo Sifu (The Most Integrated Workplace Award); Patrosil-Acevip (Best Guild-Association Award); Fundació Mobile World Capital (Best Practices in Public Service Award); and the chairman of Grifols, Victor Grífols (Business Personality of the Year Award).
