Some trade fairs have experienced a drop in turnout in recent years, forcing industry professionals to find new ways to strengthen commercial relationships in Italy.
To this end, and to enhance the international presence of its brands, Fluidra Commerciale Italia decided to organise a Fluidra Factory Tour for its Italian customers after the successful results of the initiative’s first edition.
A total of 62 customers and 15 employees from the Italian subsidiary made a trip to Barcelona from 27 to 30 January to visit some of the group’s facilities, as well as to discover first-hand the processes involved in manufacturing the products that these customers and employees sell every day.
The visitors kicked off their Barcelona visit with a tour of the city’s Gothic Quarter. The tour gave the customers the perfect opportunity to get to know one another while discovering some of the most iconic spots in the city. The day ended with a fun tapas dinner.
The group visited the Sacopa and Poltank facilities in Sant Jaume de Llierca, Girona, the next morning, followed by a tour of the Trace Logistics headquarters in the afternoon. A dinner party featuring local cuisine and a performance of Catalan rumba was the perfect end to a hectic and interesting day.
The third and last day began with a tour of the Metalast and Cepex plants. Lunch was followed by a workshop with Inquide, Iberspa, Idegis and Aquatron in the Cepex meeting room. The farewell dinner was celebrated in the Opium Mar club.
As in the first edition, one of the main highlights of this Fluidra Factory Tour was that group employees were in charge of giving the explanations at each of the plants, something which, according to customers, significantly enhances the initiative’s added value.
Once again, the feedback from the participants was extremely positive, further cementing the Fluidra Factory Tour formula’s position as one of the group’s most successful customer loyalty strategies.
