Trends: A Thermal Space for Children

“Likids is a unique project, a step forward in the development of the leisure and wellness industry”. That is how Ignacio Elburgo, General Manager of Fluidra Engineering Services, defines the new thermal space for children that Caldea recently opened in Andorra.

Our engineering division, specialists in complete aquatic installations, was tasked with the design and completion of Likids, a project distinguished by being the first space designed especially with children in mind.

The innovating proposal, part of the Caldea facility in Andorra, entails 400 sq metres set aside for children aged three to eight to enjoy their first wellness experience in a spa.

The facility boasts various added value products from our portfolio, such as massage jets, water cannons, water spouts, water beds and an AstralPool machinery room. Other group brands involved in the project include Togama, which provided the ceramic tiling, and Ignialight, responsible for installing the pioneering lighting systems.

Likids lets children interact with water while also boosting creative play and the feelings of peace and relaxation.

They say that Likids is a magical place…and let’s face it, where else have you seen a pool with dunes, an audiovisual room in the shape of a sauna or a hydromassage spa for kids?
